FAQ

 

What does a typical project include?

A phone consultation is a minimum, or if possible, a personal meeting. We'll discuss the space the artwork is destined for, if there is a desired theme, the lighting constraints, your room's color palette, envisioned print size, framing, and of course budget.

How do you price projects, and how do usage/licensing terms affect cost?

This is a complex question. Many variables come into play, not the least of which is the amount of time the project requires. Other factors include how the images will be used (print display only, commercial use, etc.) and for how long. Generally, greater usage requires a commensurately higher fee.

Which production services do you provide, and what can be handled in-house?

We can provide digital files for print reproduction at a print house of your choice, or we can create the print for you.

Framing is best handled at your location, to minimize damage to the print during shipment.

What timelines should we plan for, and how fast are selects and finals delivered?

We do our best to work within your timeline, but of course, some things are out of our control. Rush charges may apply, should you have a short-notice requirement. The bottom line is plan for the job to take more time than you might think!
